During a studio visit in early 2016 Alex J. Wright filmed stained glass artist Thomas Denny painting his second of two windows depicting the life and death of King Richard III – just before it was sent off for installation at Leicester Cathedral. In this film we step into the magical world of stained glass and watch Tom working directly on the windows as he discusses the motivations behind the imagery. He also explains the techniques he uses to develop the surface of the glass.

RTE 'Nationwide' Feature on the Reconciliation Window, St John's Tralee

The installation of the Reconciliation Window marked the 800th anniversary of the founding of Tralee (c. 1216 AD) and is a joint endeavour by Tralee's Catholic and Church of Ireland parish communities. Tom Denny is a member of the Dennys of Tralee Castle family who has executed stained glass works in some of Britain's great Anglican Cathedrals and churches. The new Window of Reconciliation has three panels, or 'lights'; the central themes are reconciliation, healing and renewal.
